Cannibal Cheerleader is the bloody creation of University of Texas film school graduate John Bradley. Upon graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Austin-based University’s prestigious Radio-Television-Film program, he interned under world-renowned music video creator Brian McCue, famous for his work with U2, and took the knowledge of fiery, in-your-face camera-work and soaring visuals to his new company, called Cannibal Cheerleader after a morbid fascination with horror films.
Having worked with best-selling artists ranging from My Morning Jacket to Chiodos and underground phenoms like the Whispertown 2000 and Rolo Tomassi alike, John Bradley brings a level of professionalism and experience to any video project.
In November of 2009 John Bradley traveled with Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures, a local Austin psychobilly band, as they toured with none other than horror maven Rob Zombie. The footage John obtained would make up the gist of the rock documentary They Walk with Zombies, a film now in consideration for the 2010 South By Southwest Film Festival.
...AND THE MUSIC

What began as a project in prose quickly became an obsession – writing about new and interesting indie-rock bands opened the pod-bay doors to a fantastic world of fury and art. People began to read what Cannibal Cheerleader had to say about the next big thing – pretty soon we were tastemakers ourselves and we loved the taste of blood…
In summation…
Cannibal Cheerleader is a beast. A malevolent nightmare fused with rock and roll fury. The passion of punk combined with the bloody ferocity of a grindhouse horror film. An online rock zine dedicated to imaginative prose and fiery music journalism. A music video company that prides itself on raw energy and relentless tenacity. The dichotomy of the singer-songwriter’s slow-burn and the hardcore rocker’s maelstrom. We bleed art. We are a sight to behold. cannibalcheerleader@gmail.com
