Oh Brody Dalle, how you tease and torture us with the tiniest bits and pieces of your wonderful new project Spinnerette, only now instead of morsels you’re rewarding our patience with a feast! That’s right CC faithful, the ex-Distiller is offering up a new EP entitled Ghetto Love on Dec. 11th. You can listen to the title track over at Spin.com exclusively and we’ll be sure to have a few tunes up here come the eleventh. “Ghetto Love” features some searing guitar rhythms and an electronic feel that nonetheless fits the punk mentos of the day (a-la Crystal Castles, Heartsrevolution, etc). Here’s hoping the rest of the tracks on the EP will be as good!

FINALLY PUNK TO KICK OFF WINTER TOUR
Hot on the heels of the release of their incredibly excellent new 7″, Austin’s own Finally Punk are hitting the road again after a long hiatus. The tour starts this Dec. 27th at Emo’s right here in town, so be sure and mark your calendars now!
